"2015 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES" ASHLAND BROOKSIDE PARK BANDSHELL / KRUSH CONCERT GIG REVIEW

Dear KRUSH KREW,
We would like to thank all of you who helped promote the show and came out to support us at the Guy C. Memorial Bandshell "2015 Summer Concert Series" on Sunday August 2nd. The event was the concert of the summer! It was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without you! It was arguably the nicest day of the entire summer. You couldn't have asked for a better day to play! The crowd turnout was amazing! It was as large if not larger than the crowd we performed for the last time we played there in 2013 and 2006. We were informed that it was one of the largest turnouts there this year at the Bandshell! Again, thank you for your help in promoting this event! We had such a blast playing for you! It was so much fun playing for so many people. The time went by too fast. We were just getting warmed up and started. We wanted to play another four hours for you. It was the event of the year!
Let's do this again next year and every year! That would be awesome. It just doesn't get any better than that!
Congratulations to the winner of the electric guitar!

2015 200 ASHLAND BICENTENNIAL KICK-OFF / KRUSH CONCERT GIG REVIEW

Dear KRUSH KREW,

We would like to thank everyone for coming out and braving the inclement weather to support KRUSH at the 200 ASHLAND BICENTENNIAL KICK-OFF, Downtown Ashland, on Saturday night, June 27th, 2015 and be a part of history in the making. We all got to celebrate the kick-off of Ashland’s 200th birthday together! There were people there to rock it up with KRUSH from all across the country, not just Ashland!
It was nothing less than a miracle that we even got to perform at all. The entire week leading up to the event, meteorologists were saying that it would be a 100% chance of rain (torrential downpours with flooding), 25mph wind gusts, and that any and all outdoor events across Ohio would be a total washout. Thank you God for holding off the rain!
You could feel the energy in the crowd and we all had a great time in spite of the gloomy forecast. It was rocking! We were told later that you could hear it up on Morgan Avenue.
Again, thanks to everyone who came! Special thanks to Rick, Sondra, and everyone on the 200 Ashland Bicentennial Kick-Off Committee and Stephanie of Kingston, who sponsored the event.
Thanks to Full Spectrume Sound (Ken & Devin) for doing an outstanding job! Thanks to our road crew - Rick, T.J., Trent, and Mandy. Thanks to Randy, our 4th KRUSH brother, for doing a great job on the guitar. Thanks to Joan for all your hard work and fantastic  performances, Thanks to Karen for all that you do! We’d like to thank all of you who participated in the Tom -Tom Club. Thanks to Cheyenne, Celeste, and Cierra for performing with KRUSH. Nice job ladies! Thanks to Midgie, Betty Jo, Gracie, Chissy, Patches, Black Stuff, Kosmo, and Mackie and all our brothers and sisters there in spirit. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us. Thanks to everyone who wanted to come but couldn’t because of the weather. We missed you and we’ll see you next time!
We couldn’t have done it without each and everyone of you!
Let’s get together and do it again in another 200 years! (I’m just saying….)
HAPPY 200th BIRTHDAY ASHLAND!

See you next time!

KRUSH - Keith, Kevin, & Garry

(P.S. Lets keep the party going! Come see KRUSH perform at the Guy C. Myers Memorial Band Shell Amphitheater at Brookside Park on Sunday August 2nd from 8:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.)

2013 REHAB TELETHON / KRUSH CONCERT GIG REVIEW

Dear KRUSH KREW,
We'd like to thank all of you who came out to the show in person to support us and for making the event a success! It was our seventh year performing at the 22nd Rehab Telethon and was one of our best shows! You could feel the energy! The weather was mild and it was one of the largest crowds that we've had there. As always, we had a blast playing for such an energetic audience and appreciated the "KRUSH ROCKS!" signs that fans made and held up during the show.
Also, thanks to all of you who couldn't be there, but watched us on television. Thanks to fans across the country and around the world who watched and listened to the show via a live simulcast over the internet. Special thanks to all of you who called in to pledge a donation for the telethon. Together we helped raise over $83,235. It's a great cause and we're proud of you!
Chelley Kemper from Mix 106.1 FM radio was there hosting. As always, she was fun to work with, as well as all of the crew from WMFD TV.
See you next time!

2012 REHAB TELETHON / KRUSH CONCERT GIG REVIEW

Dear KRUSH KREW,
We'd like to thank all of you who came out to the show in person to support us and for making the event a huge success! Also, thanks to all of you who couldn't be there, but watched us on television. Together, we helped to raise over $83,328.
The television station, WMFD-TV, was experiencing difficulties with their audio feed over the air. The audio was out of sync with the video and the video was compromised as well. Because of time constraints, there wasn't time allotted for a sound check for volume level and tone adjustments in between all the acts. The sound company’s front of house techs operating the sound console just tried to adjust things on the run as they went, during the songs while we were performing. We had a guest musician playing guitar along with us on the Beatles song “Eight Days A Week.“ The guys running the sound system during that song inadvertently had his guitar amp channel on the sound console turned up excessively loud to the point where he was drowning out and overpowering everything else in the sound mix feed being sent over the air (because there wasn't a sound check) and all you could hear was him. ( *None of the other songs sounded like that because he wasn't playing on them.) The live sound system inside the mall that the crowd heard was good, not at all like the television broadcast. We apologize for the poor quality of the television sound, but it was out of our control. But, as the saying goes, "the show must go on!" Regardless, we had fun and hope you did too!
Special thanks to all of you who called in to pledge a donation for the telethon. It's a great cause and we're proud of you!
We had fun playing for you! See you next time!
Thanks for watching!

2012 CLEAR FORK RESORT / KRUSH CONCERT GIG REPORT

Dear KRUSH KREW,
Making a rare winter appearance, KRUSH headed over to Butler, Ohio, to the Clear Fork Resort, not to ski, tube, or snow board down the slopes, but to bring the house down with an avalanche of “High Energy” Rock and Roll! Neither the snow or cold weather could stop the band from delivering the “Ultimate Show in 70’s & 80’s Classic Rock. The crowd was rocking and everyone’s been talking! “Had a great time!” “Maximum fun and then some!” “It was Awesome!”
Special thanks to Heidi and all the Clear Fork Resort crew, and to all who braved a cold winter night to come out and support us.
You rock!
KRUSH
